USS Merrimack is a 16+ Simm, meaning more mature content is exhibited in this Simm than most of the rest of Bravo Fleet and we ask that you be over the age of 16 to join. I want to encourage drama, grittiness and trauma content in this Simm due to the close quarters and forced relationships in smaller confines of a space vessel. Not to mention the potential violence that might be encountered in some time periods. This does not give free reign to write overly descriptive violent or sensual scenes, though there may contain intensely suggestive dialogue, strong coarse (but not crude or bigoted) language, intense or persistent violence, and nonâexplicit sexual situations.
Important Notes:
- This sim is rated 16+ so you must be at least 16 years old in order to apply for a position on the Merrimack.
- This sim uses novel style forum posting. Please remember this when creating your sample post.
- Please ensure you keep a copy of your application as a copy will not be emailed to you by our system.
- If you feel you want something different, feel free to ask for any position not already staffed by another Player.
- Most new Officers to this simm will start as O1 or O2 unless Captain deems a higher rank is acceptable. Generally previous experience in simms is the deciding factor, but please do not focus on rank. Good roleplaying and character interaction is worth more than pips on a collar.
- New Enlisted ratings can pretty much name their paygrade, assuming it fits in the range specified by their position on the Manifest.
