Appearance

Robert is best described as a small rock, a barrel chest and arms that seem more like small logs. His strong jawline and bright eyes do little to detract from a grisly burn scar that covers the left side of his face. His hair is cropped short and high. His fists are leathery and his knuckles are covered in scars. When his speaks his voice is low and firm.

Personality

Roberts uniform is always pressed and his boots are always shined, his walk does a lot to exude the confidence that seems to come naturally to him. Always sure of himself he prides himself in his ability to remain professional and collected at all times. He believes it is imperative to present himself as such to inspire his marines. When addressing an officer he is always curt, polite and to the point.

Background

Robert was the third of five children. He grew up in a rural farming community and enlisted in the Marine Corps as soon as he was old enough to have his parents sign the dotted line. He lives and breathes the Corps. His father was a marine, his two older brothers are commissioned and his younger siblings have taken over his family's farming business. After completing Marine Indoc training he was slotted to go to OCS where he graduated and was sent to the Federations Intel Officers Course. He graduated near the top of his class and was assigned to Starfleet Ranger training. During a training action which involved boarding an enemy vessel an accident occurred killing two members of the boarding team and leaving Robert with plasma burns on his face. After his recovery he was found unfit for duty as an Intelligence Officer and elected to resign his commission and join the Infantry. After duties on various ships and stations he has found himself with orders to the USS Merrimack.
